Fir trees and fields of lavender make the air sweet at your quaint Bilston Creek Farm wedding. This historic property is one of the most fabulous rustic wedding venues on Vancouver Island. A working farm established in 1851, Bilston Creek Farm fell into disrepair for decades before the current owners dove beneath the brambles to uncover its fallow fields and apple trees. Nowadays, the flagship crop is lavender and the newly-built timber frame barn can hold your reception and dance party for 150 guests.

Bilston Creek plays a perfect host for your day (or weekend!). This is one of those outdoor wedding venues in BC that has it all: indoor-outdoor options, several beautiful locations for your ceremony, picture-perfect photo opportunities and cozy on-site accommodations for the bridal couple (with room for more!). The farm’s catering company Bramble by Bilston (newly launched!) offers a farm-to-table affair; choose a complete wedding package with their culinary team showcasing local producers and west coast fare. You can choose to have a cocktail hour and play lawn games before your sit-down dinner (option to incorporate the wood-fired pizza oven). If you’re planning a summer wedding, there’s also the opportunity to have your dinner seated outside in the orchard with fairy lights stringing between the trees.

All the amenities and facilities here are stylish and contemporary. Guests can stay in the historic farmhouse or sleep amongst the trees in one of nine spacious glamping tents, allowing you to prepare on-site before your ceremony or capture some sneaky first-look photos amidst the greenery.

Located in Metchosin, Bilston Creek Farm is about a 30-minute scenic drive from downtown Victoria. Those not staying on-site will need to find transportation to their accommodations.
